MoonlitDays

– Writings from the Heart

Light drizzles were the harbingers of rains,
A welcome solace to the thirsty streams,
An ambrosia, nectar of the Gods,
Rejuvenator of the arid river-beds.
Flora and fauna sing and dance
In gay abandon, drenched in showers.
As I stood enthralled by the beauteous scene,
My sweetheart floated in beside me.
A gentle breeze wafted through the window,
Unbeknownst to the dreamy couple.
Lost in reverie, in a world of our own,
We perceived not that the heavens were bathed in moonlight.
